Getting Down To Basics with Liquids

Is Using Eliquids Safer Than Cigarettes And Are They Effective In Substituting The Use Of Cigarettes.

The increase in the number of electronic cigarettes among the members of the general public has caused different debates among the experts where they seek to determine whether the habit is safe or can be considered hazardous. Most people, however, have in the recent times shifted from the use of electronic cigarettes to the use of nicotine-laden flavors thus shifting the attention of the researchers. There are two groups with each having its own opinion whether the eliquids are safe where one group maintain that they are more hazardous than the cigarettes. The other group however dispute that the e-liquid is hazardous since there are no documented effects that have been established thus deeming it safe as air.

Between the two groups and their basis of argument there is truth concerning the e-liquid and the effects of using the liquid to the human body. However one should note that there is nothing that can term to be 100 percent safe especially for human consumption since even clean water which is purified can be a cause of death. What matters when one is consuming different products is their level of safety as well as their relative harm compared to other products that one can be using. When discussing the level of safety of using e-liquid it is not considered 100 percent safe but compared to the tobacco smoke that it intends to replace. It is not abnormal for the eliquids to affect consumption since the body was only designed to inhale oxygen. The safety levels of using any product depends on the components used during the manufacture, but not many people are aware of the components of the e-liquid.

The primary component of the e-liquid is nicotine as is the case with cigarettes which is an addictive stimulant and can be harmful If used in excess. Nicotine can create vasoconstriction which causes tingling sensations, headaches and blood circulation problems such as high blood pressure. However nicotine can help fight depression, improve concentration and is recommended for patients who suffer from different brain disorders such as ADHD. The second component used in making e-liquid is a glycerol compound mostly the propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin which is added to create the illusion of smoke. The last ingredient when making the e-liquid is flavors which the manufacturers use to improve the taste. Some e-liquid brands also contain added ingredients such as distilled water which is added to make it wick and vodka or pure grain alcohol to improve throat hit.
